Noida Police cracks down on Multiple-Online forgery centres of Noida

Incident of forgery by the help of stolen cell-phones and fake-SIM cards are registered on regular basis as the rate of cyber-crime is increasing in different states.
Considering Noida has been the epicentre of many such gangs in the past, a team to crack such cases had been constructed by Gautam Buddha Nagar SSP and lead by SHO of different police stations to conduct checking operations of such suspicious centres. During this operation a police team received a tip-off regarding one such fake-call centre being operated from Noida and conducted a raid at its premises.
The raid was done on a Fake online company named (PPSR) operating from B-18, Sector 2, Noida from where four persons were arrested named Ayush, Umar, Imran and a girl Komal. Another Online company running with the name of Fashion on Deal in sector 2 was also raided. The second company was a joint venture by Nandan Ram Patel, Hemant Ram Patel, Santosh Kumar, Sravan Kumar and Vikas Thakur all were arrested from the spot.
Another raid was done on a company named trade shop and Sonu was arrested from there. In the forth raid company named life fashion was raided but the office was found closed so in the presence of care taker company was sealed.
When accused were questioned about their mode of crime then they said “There are many touts who sell customers’ data from there they arrange numbers of costumers and make a call to them and lure customers by offering discounts on electronic goods, such as television and mobile phones. Once a costumer got trapped they ask for payment through Paytm and different E- wallets and after that they don’t deliver the products and discard the SIM card through which call was done”.
From all the culprits a huge amount of electronic gadgets like 40 CPU, 25 desktop, 26calling phone, 9 wrist watch, printer, pen drive and many more such Gadgets and cash of 20 thousand was recovered.
