Indian Developer’s Twitter Bot ‘Explain This Bob’ Suspended After Elon Musk Calls it a ‘Scam Crypto Account’

New Delhi, 19th June 2023: Indian coder Prabhu Biswal’s well-known bot account has been terminated by Elon Musk, who has promised to purge Twitter of bots and fraud accounts. The popular memecoin( digitql currency) BOB was tied to Biswal’s Twitter account “Explain This Bob,” which he managed.

The account was integrated with GPT-4 model from OpenAI, which comprehended tweets and provided a succinct response when tagged in responses to the original tweet. According to reports, Musk thinks that this account was influencing BOB’s price.

Musk referring to the account Tweeted on June 18th, “This sure looks like a scam crypto account. If so, it will be suspended.”

The “Explain This Bob” Twitter bot, which had more than 4,00,000 followers before it was shut down, gained notoriety in April after Elon Musk replied to one of the account’s tweets with the words “I love Bob.”

BOB is currently trading at $0.00001942, or around Rs. 0.0016, according to CoinMarketCap.

The BOB coin, which was launched in April on the Ethereum network, has a maximum circulating supply of 690 billion and a fully diluted market capitalization of $13.3 million (approximately Rs. 109 crore).

The value of the memecoin has decreased by 30% over the past 24 hours since Musk flagged the “Explain This Bob” account.

The hashtag #FreeBob has been trending on Twitter recently, pleading for Musk to unblock the suspended Twitter bot.

Biswal is yet to respond to the suspension of the account.
