Yamuna Authority allotted land to Fortune 500, Haldiram’s & Jaipuria School

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Developmental Authority allotted 50,000 and 1 lakh square metre land to US-based Fortune 500 company Avery Dennison and India’s leading sweets and snacks manufacturer Haldiram’s, respectively. “These two companies will invest Rs 476 crore and also create significant employment opportunities for local people,” officials said.
This is the next big achievement YEIDA has clinched after one of the largest smartphone maker Vivo allotted 169 acres of land in sector 24A. The tech giant will make an investment of 5200 cores that will be generating 25 new job opportunities in the region.
“We have allotted 50,000 square meter land to Avery Dennison in Sector 32. It is a company that produces industrial investments of Rs 231 crore and generates employment opportunities for 250 people. While Haldiram’s has been given 1 lakh sq metres in sector 32 from which 2,000 job opportunities are expected to generate, “said Arun Veer Singh, CEO, YEIDA.
Jaipuria Senior Secondary School was allotted 24,000 sq meter land in sector 20 of upcoming Yamuna City. These investments in Industrial and Institutional sector will not only boost the economic growth of the region but will also set a platform to enhance the infrastructure for the upcoming city.
