Pari Chowk To Jewar Metro Line Will Be Proposed In The Next Board Meeting : YEIDA CEO

Greater Noida (31/01/2019) : After the inauguration of Aqua Line metro Yamuna Authority is working for providing smooth connectivity to the proposed Noida International Greenfield Airport in Jewar with the metro. For exploring the possible means of transportation which can assure feasible connectivity for the upcoming Airport and the proposed township in the region, YEIDA is conducting a Multi-Model Study for this.
Apart from this DMRC is also conducting a feasibility study for YEIDA on the proposed Pari Chowk to Jewar Metro line.
Detailing about the project Arun Veer Singh CEO YEIDA said “A Multi-Model Study by RIGHTS agency is going on for exploring the possible means of transportation which can assure feasible connectivity for the upcoming Airport. A report on this will be submitted by 15 February and on the basis of this report, an elevated road or a flyover that will be linking to existing Eastern Peripheral Expressway some where near to Palwal. This flyover will provide direct connectivity to Indira Gandhi International Airport.”
For the second project, he detailed that “We were looking for giving two kinds of Metro Connectivity to the Jewar Region. One metro line will dedicate airport line and another will cater the sectors like 18, 20, and 22D of Noida city.”
Further, he added that “regarding feasibility report, I had words with Mangu Singh, MD DMRC who also directed their officials to complete their report within 10 to 15 days. While a lot of work like study, maps, coordinates are already been completed.”
This report will be ready by 15th February and in the upcoming board meeting in February authority will present the proposal for a dedicated airport metro line between Pari Chowk and Jewar. While another metro line will be proposed for Noida sectors.
